Summer Reading Program 2026

The goal of the Summer Reading Program is to keep our young patrons reading during the summer. Participants can fill out a reading log, earn prizes, and attend fun shows. The program is FREE and is for children 12 years old and under. To register, go to the library or click this link
Book Club: West with the Night

The June book club pick is a memoir by Beryl Markham, a pioneer of aviation. Markham was the first woman to have a commercial pilot's license in East Africa and the first person to make a solo transatlantic flight from the east to the west.
Book Club: Good Dirt

After a childhood tragedy and the end of a relationship, Ebby moves from New England to France. But a family heirloom passed down from an enslaved ancestor leads her to dig into the family history. This historical fiction title by Charmaine Wilkerson, author of Black Cake, is a multi-generational look at how our past can inform our present and future.
